Position Start DateBeginning of 25-26 Baseball Season

Position is contingent on the State’s guidance providing approval to start the sport program and may be prorated if the program is delayed.

SALARY RANGE: One time stipend per Collective Bargaining Agreement of $5,578.28 - $6,944.39 depending on paid coaching experience.

DUTIES: This is not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, or functions associated with this position.

  • Must be able to plan, organize and execute practices.
  • Ability to guide and inspire student athletes.
  • Monitor the safety of all participants and follow safety protocols.
  • Develop player fundamentals.
  • Supervise student athletes to, at and from events.
  • Oversee assistant coaches.
  • Communicate with school personnel, student athletes and parents.
  • Increase athletic participation in the program.
  • Maintain equipment and inventory.
  • Responsible for regular baseball field maintenance beyond scheduled waterings and mowing.
  • Coordinate with the athletic director and others for facility usage.
  • Knowledge of the sport.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have or be able to obtain a coaching certificate and First Aid/CPR card.
