At 2:55pm on January 4th the Reedsport Community Charter School went into lockdown for five minutes. A police arrest occurred on Highway 101 immediately outside of the building which necessitated the lockdown. Students were not in session and were home at the time. Staff members were able to secure the building during the 5 minute lockdown. Once police had secured the situation the lockdown was able to be lifted.
