Reedsport School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Office Manager for Reedsport School District. This position will be located at Highland Elementary beginning in the 2025-26 school year.

JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the building administrator, the Office Manager will be responsible for managing the operation of the school office and will perform a variety of clerical and secretarial work that requires the use of indepen­dent decision-making.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • $20.47 - $26.40 per hour (Depending on relevant verifiable experience)
  • 191 days per year

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or functions associated with the job.

  • Answers the telephone and acts as receptionist.
  • Serve as information liaison between students and district employees.
  • Orders and receives inventory and distributes school supplies.
  • Composes correspondence independently on routine matters.
  • Manages reporting functions as required.
  • Establishes and maintains files and records, including correspondence and personnel records.
  • Routes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintains student body funds.
  • Administers first aid to students.
  • Manages breakfast and hot lunch programs.
  • Contacts substitutes for licensed and classified staff that is absent.
  • Maintains confidentiality of work-related information.
  • Operates computers and other office machines, including photocopiers.
  • Dispenses medication in accordance with district policy.
  • Fulfills other secretarial-related duties as assigned by the building administrator.
  • Coordinates the tasks assigned to all office secretarial employees or volunteers within the building with the building administrator's approval.
  • Establishes and maintains student files and records, including attendance, grades, discipline and cumulative files.
  • Organizes annual health screening of students.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree preferred or minimum 2 years of experience in a school setting and district office work experience is preferred.
  • Employee must be highly proficient with word-processing, spreadsheets and other software applications as appropriate.
  • Ability to obtain a valid CPR/First Aid card.

Reedsport School District is seeking qualified coach applicants for the position of Assistant Varsity Football Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to assist in planning, organizing, and executing practices
  • Ability to guide and motivate student athletes
  • Monitor safety of all participants and follow safety protocols
  • Develop player fundamentals
  • Supervise students to, at and from events
  • Communicate with school personnel, student athletes and parents
  • Increase athletic participation in the program
  • Maintain equipment and inventory
  • Coordinate with the athletic director and others for facility usage
  • Knowledge of the sport

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have or be able to obtain a coaching certificate and First Aid/CPR card.

POSITION START DATE: To begin in the 2025-26 football season

STIPEND:  $3,621 - $4,279 STIPEND depending on paid coaching experience. (This is based on the 2024-25 salary scale. The 2025-26 salary scale has not yet been negotiated.)

JOB SUMMARY: This job posting is for all Classified Substitutes. Substitutes are variable hour, on-call employees who perform a variety of duties with students and assist teachers and specialists in supporting students with an emphasis in reading, writing, math and/or behavior.
