Announcement to Reedsport Students, Staff, Families and Community:
In collaboration with local law enforcement, Reedsport School District will periodically deploy drug detection dogs on district property. This communication will serve as notice that these random visits will occur. The district will determine the schedule of deployment in order to address the needs of the school and operation of the district. There will be no announcement of the specific date or time this will occur. The buildings will follow district policies and building procedures if Marijuana or other illegal narcotics are discovered.
Anyone wishing to speak with the superintendent regarding this announcement is encouraged to contact Sharmen Tipton in the District Office to schedule an appointment.
